Ironman Malaysia

Joe Cleasby, Ironman competitor, is off to Malaysia tonight for an experience he wont forget. Racing next Sunday in Ironman Malaysia he will not only face the epic 3.8km swim, 180km ride and 42.2k run, but he will be doing it in 34C and a with an expected humidty of 80%. Joe’s goal is no secret, qualify for Hawaii!

A few of his most recent Ironmans have included:

  • Ironman WA 2009 – 9.53
  • Ironman Australia 2009 – 9.47
  • Ironman WA 2008  - 10.00

Joe has to finish 2nd in his age group for selection into Hawaii and it will be a great feat to achieve. (He has finished fourth in his last two attempts)

    watch out for the DOMS after the race. If you need any advice let me know, I have experienced it frist hand and its no laughing matter.
